Help keep live music alive in Austin - support musicians' healthcare through HAAM. HAAM, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), "provides Austin-area musicians access to affordable health, wellness, and prevention services to strengthen their quality of life in support of our vibrant music culture."

Since the organization was founded in 2005, HAAM has helped musicians, DJs, and music teachers across Travis and surrounding counties access over $215 million in healthcare services.

The longtime Austin music scene fixture, Hole in the Wall, has new owners. Mike Lavigne and local promoter Courtney Goforth are partnering to give the legendary bar and music venue a new lease on life, with and enthusiastic, happily aggressive growth campaign. "More punk rock. More drag. More comedy. More shaking your ass. More opportunities to gather and be social and have fun," Lavigne said.
